The Train Has Arrived
Alright Raiders, the North Line Train finally pulled into the station. I know a lot of you have been waiting for this. We've got access to that research facility in the mountains now—Stella Montis. It's a cool spot, but make sure you bring your climbing gear.
New Stuff to Look For
Besides the new map, there are some fresh threats out there. If you see a 'Matriarch' or 'Shredder' unit... maybe don't run straight at it unless you're packed. Also, the Community Event is live, so let's get those unlocks going.
- MAP: Stella Montis is open for business.
- ENEMIES: Watch out for the new Matriarch and Shredder units.
- EVENT: The Community Unlock Event is live. New quests are up on the board.
Feels A Lot Smoother
I've gotta say, the game feels way better today. You know that annoying thing where you'd dive behind a wall and *still* take damage a second later? Seems like they finally fixed that desync issue. Shooting ARC machines feels snappier too.
- LATENCY: That 'dying behind cover' desync issue seems fixed. Movement feels tighter.
- FEEDBACK: You can actually see your bullets hitting the ARC machines instantly now.
- QUESTS: Fixed that bug where multi-part quests wouldn't track properly in one run.
- ACHIEVEMENTS: If you were stuck on an achievement, check again. They reset the bugged single-objective ones.
Economy Update: Hide Your Wallet
Okay, this is the part that hurts. If you love blowing things up, I have bad news. The traders jacked up the prices on Launcher Ammo and Wolfpacks. It is seriously expensive to run a demolition build right now.
Important Update
HEADS UP: Launcher Ammo costs doubled. It's 200 Coins a pop now. Ouch.
- WOLFPACK COST: Price jumped from 3,000 to 5,000 Coins.
- WOLFPACK RECIPE: Now requires ARC Motion Cores. Yeah, it's harder to craft.
- LAUNCHER AMMO: Value doubled to 200 Coins. Crafting yields 6 shots now, but requires Refined Explosives.
- ARC MOTION CORES: You can unlock the blueprint earlier now (Refiner LVL 2), but they cost more Alloy to make.
- SPOTTER RELAY: Good news? These are way cheaper now (dropped to 2,000 Coins).
Leveling Up
If you're trying to grind XP, stop just shooting the big guys. They nerfed the XP for raw damage. The smart play now is targeting specific parts—Thrusters and Legs are paying out huge XP.
- DAMAGE XP: Reduced for Bastions, Bombardiers, and Rocketeers.
- LOOTING XP: Bastion and Bombardier parts give less XP now.
- THE NEW META: Rocketeer Thrusters and Leaper Legs now give 500 XP (up from 200). Target those weak spots!
Map Cleanup
Thank goodness, they patched up a bunch of holes in the map. I used to fall through the floor in the Dam all the time. Also, check out the Spaceport—they sealed up that one room in the Departure Building, so you'll need explosives to get the loot inside now.
- THE DAM: Fixed the terrain holes and stuck spots.
- BURIED CITY: Subway stations are safer; no more getting stuck in the geometry.
- SPACEPORT: That open room in Departure is sealed now. Bring a breach charge.
- BLUE GATE: Fixed the trap in the Control Room.
- HATCHES: You're actually immune to damage when the hatch animation starts now.
Other Nice Tweaks
A few other things I noticed: Smoke grenades actually work consistently now (finally), and vaulting over fences feels way less clunky.
- SMOKE GRENADES: Now visible at the same range for everyone. Reliable cover.
- VAULTING: Feels much smoother.
- INVENTORY: You can finally split stacks in the menu!
- TICKS: The Anti-Tick field attaches faster (0.5s), so they shouldn't blow up in your face as often.
- EXPLOITS: Fixed that infinite-death grenade bug and the Spaceport bunker wall breach.
